Has to be range and ability in prime. It's hard to blame a metal vocalist for fucking up their vocal chords for later on, even if it's partially due to a lack of control early on. Influence is ok, too. I don't think Ozzy or Quorthon were ever as capable as Halford or Gillan or whoever, but they were...

Since I just moved out here, and don't have any regular jam comrades, I figured I'd go ahead and post this as a separate thread from the drummer-seeking one. I do guitar and vox mainly. Don't have too much space, but some. Free on most Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Hit me up if you do anything.
