There's nothing out here in this small shit hole of a town I live in New Mexico. I may find myself driving to Albuquerque in the near future. This whole not going to shows thing because there are no shows really sucks!

Embryonic Devourment is playing there next month and so is Iced Earth (not the same day haha) I'll take whatever I can get!
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

Mine should be somewhere over the Atlantic right about now.

I am very strongly considering FUN FUN FUN Fest in Austin this year. KING DIAMOND and JUDAS PRIEST are the big Metal names, but also Sick of It All, Glassjaw, Blood Brothers, Gorilla Biscuits, Jello Biafra, Pallbearer, Gary Numan, Dinosaur Jr, Nas.....and 2 Chainz.

Jello Biafra!!! I've never seen him with a band; I've only seen his spoken word shows.

Definitely worth a mention here. Some Atlanta folks, Birmingham crew, and Philly friends. Might drive up for this one.

May go see the Summer Slaughter Tour in Albuquerque in a month. Morbid Angel (hopefully no ghey new shit), Dying Fetus, Goatwhore, Origin & a few others. On a damn weeknight though.

I was able to make that Iced Earth show which was also on a weeknight. I got home from work around 5, was out the door at 5:30, got to the show around 8:30 and left around 11. I got home around 2am and went to work the next day. Kinda brutal lol

I believe I say this every year, but I am considering Ragnarokkr fest in Chicago next May. Depends on what else pops up between now and then, but High Spirits, Ostrogoth, Attacker, Eternal Champion, Warlord, Coven (doom), and Walpyrgus are mighty tempting.

The Ragnarokkr Fest seems pretty legit. That's not too expensive considering travel and ticket cost. I was planning on driving to TN next month to see Inquisition at The Concourse/The International. Also, in March COBG is doing some sort of Fest in the Carolinas.
