I thought King Diamond was great! Played a good chunk from a lot of earlier albums, and had a stage setup and show that we're all familiar with but it's still awesome. Overkill had a bunch of hired guns on tour with them this go 'round and felt a little lifeless onstage, sans Bobby. That Opeth show ...

I'm still waiting to see Xentrix! I absolutely love Shattered Existence. I was meant to see 'em once many years ago, but they canceled.

I'm probably going to this. I've seen Metallica a handful of times--but not since 2009. Never saw Pantera back-when, so I'll see Phil and the Pandering-Tera$'s. And Suicidal as an opener isn't the worst choice in existence.

I read somewhere that Armored Saint got put back on the tour? I can't seem to find that again, but I hope not. I'm pretty done seeing that band.

Was trying to see about getting them on a different gig but there were some obstacles, but this one worked out well. I'm excited, I think the last I saw them was in the old Masquerade almost 20 damn years ago.

That seemed to be the case for the first suburban venue who sold to new owners. Pulling it out of the City itself was a different matter. Regardless, sweet lineup!
