That is my point, indeed, good Sir. I'd place Justin Timberlake on the list to overtake any technical bullshit. I think Blaze open...

i sit on the fence on this one. i love late 80's/early 90's death metal. it helped shape my entire life and musical tastes. BUT, modern death metal bores me to tears for the most part. it doesn't interest me at all to hear how fast and crazy and how many time signatures you can fit into 4 minutes. ...

The contemporary Gothenberg sound definitely shouldn't be labeled as death metal (to me, at least), but the older stuff is pretty damned cool, regardless of classification. There are still a few gems that are too catchy to deny. Scar Symmetry being one of them. Yeah, I like Scar Symmetry. Fuck you....

That's tough. Rhythmically, I prefer Death, but I like that Black is more open to experimentation, and has more depth and texture. I'm definitely more interested in the cold and harsh qualities of BM, but the tremolo picking and minor thirds get to me after awhile. I will go with BM only because it'...

Cheers to the years of burning for metal, brother. Hopefully your young Padawan will weild the lasersword with your vigorous glory.

Congrats on graduation. That's always a change of pace...

Where're you moving to? You going to grad school?

Awesome! I'm really interested in having some guest Vocalists make appearances on this beast.

Drop me a message on the 'space, since I can't seem to get the PM's on here to work anymore...
