N. Highland is not a "gay" area, although it borders on Midtown, which is. There are a lot of clubs on or near N. Highland -- most of them, I think -- that are not gay clubs. The Highlander, the old Dark Horse Tavern, etc.

Grrr, I just realized I won't be able to make it to the show after all -- I forgot it was the same day/night as the final Dragon*Con directors' meeting, and I'm a director, soo......

Just a heads-up.... When I read this show info over the air last Friday, a listener told us via AOL I.M. that Bodies in The Gears of The Apparatus has a habit of not showing up at shows....and kinda forgetting to tell anyone about it. This guy was the promoter/booking agent for The Chance in Poughk...

I guess we'll have to quit playing Iron Maiden, too. Golly, Bob, two -- count 'em, TWO -- Dimmu Borgir songs were used in the trailer for the movie Hellboy . I guess we can scrap them, too? Incidentally, regarding Lacuna Coil opening for Dimmu.... Originally that was supposed to be an almost-festiv...

You haven't seen true Rhapsody cheese until you've seen their new CD cover-art (maybe it's the CD-single). Christopher Lee's head, looking like he'd rather be chewing glass, attached to this.....weird body that doesn't seem to have shoulders. It's cheesy and kinda disturbing, and hella funny. I alm...

I've only heard the two songs on the "Nemo" single but I liked them both. The new CD is apparently doing extreeemely well in Europe and their limited US tour has sold well, so I'm looking forward to seeing them again here on their later full tour. It'll be interesting to see if, after being signed ...

I'm lucky; lately I haven't had any really annoying/bad songs stuck in my head, but for the last few weeks it's been Cradle of Filth's "Her Ghost In the Fog" (a listener requested it a few weeks ago), the first two tracks on In Defiance of Existence from Old Man's Child, and that Simen vocal part f...

What kind of job did you get?

I was thinking "heck, you can't work in Little Five Points and NOT have weird hair and tattoos," but that'd be a serious (and backwards) commute. :D

I don't think I know you either, but welcome back anyway.

"Extremely long hair"? How long is that?

(Mine would've been down to my ass by now if it weren't falling out and getting dreadlocky, sometimes, in back. )

I'll go with Predator, too. But then again, I'm not human, either. After the dust settles, WE'LL take over.

Okay, this is my story. :) I grew up with classic rock and all the stuff that 96rock used to play back in the day. Most was good, some was great, some was dreck, but hey, it's what was there to listen to. I'll never forget the night when, during a period while 96rock had quit playing any "heavy" me...

Pardon me as I slide into the topic a bit late.... I like a lot of stuff besides straight-out metal. Check out my Internet radio-show playlists for a cross-section of stuff I've played, everything from Ozric Tentacles (unique space/synth/world/reggae hybrid band from the UK) to The Changeling...

Darnit, I was all set to ignore this film, as I've ignored everything 'Tallica has done since Load (not that it was good, but it proved that everything thereafter could safely be ignored. :o Now I'm thinking I should go see it. And I'm not surprised Kirk ends up looking good (or at least, incredibl...
