I reaaaaaly want to go to this, but im so god damn broke. probably gonna have to skip out on Amon Amarth too. oh well.

So "Ki" has leaked. He described it as 'heavy chill', and thats pretty much spot on. The whole album is mellow, a handful of heavy/epic parts throughout. I'm definitely digging it so far. Apparently there arent too many Townsend fans on this board, but has anybody else checked this out?

hah, ill probably get ripped for this. I was a freshman back in high school, and was before these bands got big-ish.

I think the whole thing was just way too hyped up and everyone thought they were doing a full-on show. And I thought they were just giving priority to those who bought the album to get in, I dont think you had to buy the album.

I got the leak awhile back, its pretty enjoyable. Their new album Black Cascade also leaked a week or 2 back, and I guess it's alright. it has nothing on their first album though.
