Honestly, the Masquerade is the best option initially (though I do like the EAV option). The Masquerade has the centralized-venue approach. Plus bands could start immediately after one another, takes no time to walk between stages. You would really have to draw from different sub-genres to make it r...

Ok. Very different tastes here, but... Gotta call crazy on Maiden. Number of the Beast is THE Maiden album. Everything from that to Seventh Son is pure gold. Di'anno, meh. Hell Awaits is a death metal album. Show No Mercy...its just not there yet. The vocals and the music don't really gel until Reig...

I saw Slayer in a club, back then. Which means that you could actually seem them, not just their pictures on the big screens at Lakewood. It was a completely different energy, because it was more intimate, and very intimidating. I'm hoping that they'll come through one last time at the Tabernacle, ...

I think the article is very true. Metal has always been very macho and until the 2000's guys pretty much had to keep their homosexuality quiet. Kinda like in sports. I remember when Sebastian Bach wore the "AIDS kills fags dead" shirt. Metal wasn't very open to homosexuality until the last 10-15 yea...

For not having released anything in like 3 years and that release being pretty shitty, Morbid Angel has toured the US 3 times since MDF 2012... This is a significantly better lineup than last year, SIGNIFICANTLY. Sadly there is nothing on there that sticks out to me as I've seen all the bands I like...

Well, regardless of no answer on who (if anyone is setting this up), Lectures On The Apocalypse would be interested in playing ADF if it happens this year.
