Honestly, the Masquerade is the best option initially (though I do like the EAV option). The Masquerade has the centralized-venue approach. I think the article is very true. Metal has always been very macho and until the 2000's guys pretty much had to keep their homosexuality quiet. Kinda like in sports. For not having released anything in like 3 years and that release being pretty shitty, Morbid Angel has toured the US 3 times since MDF 2012... This is a significantly better lineup than last year, SIGNIFICANTLY. Sadly there is nothing on there that sticks out to me as I've seen all the bands I like...
