Re: Hologram Dio - 6/3

Wow, the close up is pretty creepy. Especially when the bassist stands right next to it.

Re: Dark Funeral, Belphegor, Incantation + more - 6/6 - LOFT

Good turnout at this one. I think the crowd thinned out after Belphegor. Could also be due to it getting late on a weeknight.

Just a week away! I'd go ahead and secure a ticket.

We go on at 5:30. Curious to see the crowd at that time.

Re: Goatwhore/Withered/Cloak - May 17 at DU

This was very fun. I've always found Goatwhore meh live and on recording, but they were really intense this night. It was a packed house so that may have something to do with it. Great show.

Metaphobic - Atlanta death metal

New Atlanta death metal band Metaphobic, first show 6/1 at 529 playing a benefit for Aaron Baumoel. To me it sounds like all the death metal parts from Obsolescence. Danny (Cesspool) - vocals Peter (Obsolescence) - guitar Shawn (Sadistic Ritual) - guitar Nate (Paladin) - drums Dan (Malformity) - bass

Where do you see this? It's not on the Masquerade website and I can't find an announcement.

Re: Sacred Reich - 5/20 - Masquerade

Setlist doesn't look terrible. 2 from American Way, 2 from Ignorance, 2 from Surf Nicaragua. So 6 out of 9 I care about.
Probably not going though, not interested in Sworn Enemy and it being a weekday.

Re: 5/15 at 529: Profanatica, Canopy, Tómarúm, Maha Pralaya

Good show. I really enjoyed Profanatica. This was my fourth time seeing them, and this was the best by far. Probably due to the sound quality at the past shows. Maha Pralaya had more death metal elements than I expected. Vocalist was entertaining. Some nice riffs there. Tomarum were pretty good. I w...
