Mystifier comes to mind for a band with minority members. No NS ties, but at least one black member. As far as racist bands without obvious NS tendencies, there's a band (recording project only, I'm sure) from the Carolinas that I've come across on a few occasions called Slave Whipping Blasphemy.

I'm assuming that it's still operating as a venue. This show was mentioned a couple of times Saturday night at Swayze's and the bands all have Little Tree listed on their myspace pages for that date.

Might be silly, but did any of the bands say they would be back to Atlanta anytime soon? Damn, damn, damn I should have gone to this... No one that I talked to mentioned any set plans. I got the "we'd love to play this place again" response though. It wouldn't surprise me to see any of them back ag...

I know I say it a lot, but this was one awesome show. Exmortus blew my mind with some shredding like I haven't heard in a long time. Normally that kind of thing bores me after a while, but I could've watched them all night. This show far exceeded my thrash fix! I hope they keep having shows at this ...

Killer show. I picked up Sybaritic's new CD while I was there, too. Get one while they last! I wanted to see Quinta Essentia again, but hesitantly skipped out during Abominant to that warehouse show which turned out to be a pretty amazing.

P.S. Just to gauge interest, if I were to bring copies of Oaken Throne 6 to the show might anyone be interested in buying a copy or two? I will also have some available at the WITTR Caledonia show... I've been looking for the new Oaken Throne locally. Been bugging Criminal Records, etc. I'd definit...

I know of several people (myself included) that have been making noises about seeing Cynic in Asheville on the current tour. It's a given that most of us would rather see it locally...even with Dragonforce. I've got my fingers crossed for the rumored and seemingly unlikely Cynic/Possessed Euro tour ...

I have to agree. And Tommy, you should have stuck for Xeroderma. They were really good...especially for such a new band. Yeah, I thought so too when I saw them at Lenny's a few weeks ago...really enjoyed it. They even did a old Dimmu Borgir cover. I skipped out a little early to catch Let the Night...

Great show last night. Good to see so many folks turn out for this one. I don't think I even saw that many accross the street later at the Unicorn for the Early Man/Let the Night Roar show. Sound was good, bands were spot on...good solid show.

Awesome news!!!! I ran into one of the guys from Atheist when The Faceless was here 2 or 3 weeks ago and he's a big fan. I want to know who else is on this tour...I think I read somewhere that Gnostic will be opening for their summer tour too? It would make sense I hear Gnostic will indeed be on th...

Unbeleivabley killer show last night. Lecherous Nocturne was great, but I thought Embryonic Devourment chopped the whole show up and sent it home in a bag. Some of the clearest and most crushing truly technical death metal I've seen at any show in quite some time.
