Yeah I read about that somewhere too. But it's not definite yet. They're trying to make it a historic building. Dean (the owner) was quoted as being tired of fighting for his right to sell it. If i find the article I'll post it.

Bane, Comeback Kid

I was just wondering how many people on the boards went to that show. I know most of the people posting are diehard metalheads, but maybe some of you like hardcore too. And its always good to support Swayze's, Deathgasm, and Alex and Evan. Because they are cool dudes.

Atlanta is fucking awful for music anyway, but I love living here. Its sad only the huge name bring people out. When there are so many people who listen to bands that arent big and they still dont come out. Like when Cannibal Corpse comes to town its back, but with Cryptopsy or Suffocation comes it...

I'm really surprised to see so much interest in this thread. I found that during my years of hosting wrekage, Danzig was typically only requested by chicks. Some guys would request Misfits but Danzig was almost always a chick request... I don't know, Danzig 2 and 3 are pretty hot. And how could you...

I hate Atreyu, Avenged sevenfold, Hatebreed, Eighteen visions, and probably just about every other band on Victory Records. I suppose i hate hardcore and emo more than anything else. Can't all genres of aggressive music just get along? I wouldn't put Hatebreed with those other, terrible b...

Brutal Death Metal, "Emo," any sort of melodic Metal or Punk, Tech. Metal, "Pop-Punk," old Jazz, most Nu-Metal, most Pop, modern Country, "Metalcore" a la As I Lay Dying and DEP, Noisegrind, Rap / Hip-Hop, and modern R&B. Wow that's a lot of genres of music to hate. What does that leave you? The la...

Both bands were awesome. I had never heard Dysrythmia before. Isis was better than on their albums, which is saying a lot. I'm glad it was at the Drunken Unicorn and not a larger venue.
