Whatever comes of this be sure to sign us up. We'll probably unveil "Dragonslayer", since we probably won't be doing the full-length this summer. How many bands do you all think we can squeeze into a day? I was going to suggest splitting two days into a, as Matt would put it, "Melo-dick" Day and are...

Kelly, you silly goose, I was referring you to him so BOTH of you could videotape. It's hard to get multiple angles with one camera. :o/ Chilly Willy, I am digging your style. Short of getting a wicked headliner, it could be tricky bringing all the boys to the yard without a serious "milkshake". I d...

Great points all around. Lighting is pretty important. Surely there's SOMEONE in this town that has a lighting rig and does shows. There's gotta be a lighting guy with decent gear and is relatively knowledgeable. If this thing is pulled off, it would be pretty wicked to see it turn into an annual ev...

Word up, Foll. Word up, Ho!!s. The problem with booking in a non-venue is, as always, insurance/liability/lack of PA. Holly has brought forth one of the critical aspects of a "Fest"; the ability to come and go. Another "Fest" aspect involves as much loafing around and eating/drinking as there is mus...

Thanks Kelly. I totally get wild hairs up my ass about stuff from time-to-time. My current wild hair is a signature-series bass I'm working on. It's going to be the fuckin' shit. I agree about the often futile planmaking that occurs via the internet. I am personally hoping that the WREKage crew and ...

Thanks Mike! ProgPower's the inspiration, that, and all the summer festivals that roll through town. We've got way too many awesome, AWESOME fucking bands from here and Athens for something like this NOT to go down. Hell, we'll probably even come out of hiding for something like this, lineup be damn...

The trick is going to be finding a venue condusive to an outdoor festival. Lakewood would be way too damned big, Chastain is out of the question. Beer sponsorship would definitely help bring the roaches out of the woodwork, and cut down on some of the costs. I'm with Will, no more fucking dead-end e...

Awesome-strawsome

I don't know what TKT's status is, but that would be a nice headliner too. For all future reference, Athens is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Atlanta, so count that shit for the kickass bands from there too.

I think the keys to this being a wicked success are:

BEER

MEAT

METAL

Calm down, Sir Blaze. No hard feelin's man. I'm not saying you're being a tough guy, I'm saying people thinkin' droppin' the N-bomb is a cool thing to do. I'm not naming names of people I'm referring to. On a side note, you're a real life tough guy. You could crush my melon with your mighty, and thu...

Atlanta's got some pretty kickass fucking bands, and we've got our favorites. There are some pretty wicked metal tours/festivals that roll through time to time as well. So here's what the meat 'an taters of this is: What are the odds of LFR, WREKage, DeathGasm, ATLMetal, etc, putting on a day or wee...

The word itself has far more loaded rounds than something fuckin' dumb like "cracker". I think the nail has been hit on the head. It's right up there with running around screaming "albrecht macht frei" to a Jew, and saying, "Hey what's the big deal?". The big deal is that ancestrally speaking, white...

"Cracker" isn't offensive to anyone. It's a fucking silly word. Greg's absolutely, positively, correctomundo. Chris Rock would've been fuckin' around. Mike Richards went off.
