Hey guys, this is David from Deceit.

After a massive delay, I'm proud to announce that the "Malevolence of the Sun" EP will be released, very, very soon. We have all of the tracks mastered and we just need to do a few small things before we press this thing.

Why did it take so long? Well, due to certain circumstances beyond our control, we never got the vocal tracks mixed in with the instrumental mixes of the songs. So, Kyle and I recently decided to quit waiting and look elsewhere to get this done. We went to Josh of Legions of Astaroth for all of the vocal mix downs and final touch ups. He did a fantastic job; you can hear what the final mix of the first song on the album, "Pernicious Storm" is going to sound like on our myspace:

Our apologies go out to all of you guys who have been waiting for this record. I hope there's still interest for this thing, because we aren't waiting around anymore; it's coming.

Hey guys, just wanted to let everybody know that "Malevolence of the Sun" is finally out in hard copy.

We apologize once again for the massive delay in getting this thing out. Between having to track down one audio engineer to get the instrumental tracks, and then do the vocals elsewhere; combined with me moving to Charlotte in August, its just taken a while. We appreciate any continued interest that is still out there as this thing has been way overdue, but we finally got it out and we hope you all enjoy!

Just a heads up, I'm playing a show at Sweetwater Bar and Grill (Duluth) tomorrow night with Eyes Of Torment. Subdivisions and Acruce Mortem will also be playing. I'm bringing a few copies of the Deceit CD if you're looking to snag one.
