I was really digging this until the singing part of the first song kicked in. The recording even sounds really awesome...but what a bumout on the singing.

I will never understand why every band thinks that they need generic singing thrown in to every song. If your intention was to have the singing parts sound like Staind or Cold, then you hit the nail on the head.

And don't take this personally - when a local band comes on here and expects comments, I tell them straight up.

Champ played it to me a few weeks ago. Depression is recording with the same guy in a few days I think.

exactly what neal said.... champ played neal the waited demo, because neal and champs band are recording with the same dude. duhhhhhhhhhhhhh

If he had said the sentences in reverse order they would have made more sense together.
One thing didn't seem related to the other.
