Total fucking bump, but whatever.

Irreversible rips Goatsnake off alot harder than Isis, which I fucking hate anyway.

There is a new band in this same sort of weird "post-metal" non-genre in Atlanta now, but they claim no metal influence: Gray Ghost.

It's more direct than Irreversible, and a little bit more original.

that sins cd by irreversible wasnt very impressive, it has some cool parts and a lot of filler boring rip off parts, id give it a 6/10.

It's pretty true that they're not terribly metal influenced.

A couple of hardcore kids that stumbled on ISIS and Old Man Gloom (my brother and Chris), a straight edge punk rock kid (Jay), a dude who loves doom and has a literature degree (Corey), and a tough guy who loves Turbonegro and Motorhead (James).

Weird, but awesome.
Aside from having to see them in places with shitty sound and PAs, they sound really fucking good live.

I'm not just talking them up because my brother is in the band, either. If I think what they're doing is shitty, I tell them.

Yeah, I know some of those Gray Ghost dudes, and I know that they don't like metal. But they are doing a decent job of making something very similar to it. haha

But yeah, Sins has a few riffs lifted straight out of Goatsnake material. Doesn't mean I don't get into some of it a little, but yeah. They steal riffage from bands that they listen to.

its got riffs stolen directly from grinning mouths by isis, bullwhip by zoroaster, and various cult of luna, and those wanna be clean vocals are absolutely gay, but i dont think the cd is total garbage, but its definitely not something id buy. id say that age cd is better, although i got sick of it after several listens, it didnt stick. i still havent seen them live though.

I just watched Irreversible again recently.
Definitely won't be viewing it again any time soon.
It's really fucking good, but goddamn.

It's an awesome story.
You should watch the whole thing.
Also, you're missing out on the brutal murder in the beginning.
