haha yeah me too! well, I was with you guys pretty much that whole weekend.

as far as the best local metal bands, Demoncy, Hallow's Eve, and Burial Rites (the last time I saw them , they sounded aweful though), and Apocalyptic Visions (saw them live once and they fuckin' killed!). That band need to play more shows...they hardly ever play any shows.
It never gets old you saying how bad Burial Rites sounds does it?
it was just that one time. I've seen you guys before on multiple occasions and I thought you guys were awesome those other times. Or I wouldn't have listed you as one of my favorite local metal bands. If I seriously thought you sucked, I wouldn't even bother going to your shows.

Dude, I was really good friends with those guys! They were great for what they were, but thet couldn't lay off the drugs or sex long enough to really focus. Well, only one of them, but.....

I was good friends with them, and host a small 'legacy' website for 'em. They would not be WREKage material nowadays, but they were played pretty often back in 1994-5 when the show was more...interesting. :)

I've got some demo material from them if you're interested..... (Disregard the info about it on the webpage; it was written before mp3s were invented. :))

BTW, Chris/Bacchus works right in L5P at the Brewhouse, last I heard.

I think A Dead Refrain is one of the best metal bands in Georgia, but the only thing holding them back is that fact that they haven't built up a strong enough fan base.

Check them out on myspace www.myspace.com/andtheskiesturnred

i think its the breakdown happy/metalcore sound that's holding them back. send them back to the drawing board for something original or at least not so overdone and perhaps they'll get somewhere.
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

I agree with you on that one, but not all of there stuff is Metalcore/breakdowns. They have alot of Melodic stuff too.
