...besides wrekage.org and these forums of course.

Every friday my favorite CD reviews site gets updated, which is http://www.metaljudgment.com . It's also the place where I more or less shamelessly stole the format we use for writing reviews here.

Any other good review/discussion sites out there?

I post on the Sin metal forums at www.smnnews.com alot, they have a good bit of band forums on there and always try to keep people informed on tour and festival information.

I check in at the ProgPower USA Forum every so often to keep an eye on things -- it's not quite as busy now as it was near festival-time, but there are quite a few dedicated souls.

Every once in a while I'll check Blabbermouth's site, although their info can be hit-or-miss. (or myth, for that matter)

Dan saw tourdates for Soilwork/Hypocrisy/Dark Tranquillity/Mnemic on SMNnews, so I might have to check them out more often.

He probably also needed a clean pair of pants after seeing that.

http://www.metalupdate.com is a good site, but ironically it doesn't get updated as often anymore.

I like the BNR Metal Pages found alot of offshot bands from bands I already liked to ones I had never heard before.

But for metal lyrics, I would say www.darklyrics.com is the best comprehensive metal lyric site out there, bar none. :sm0k3:

While wordy, the reviews at anus dot com are as comprehensive as it gets (I'm not linking to the site for fear of trackbacking, and if you peruse the anus forum, you'll understand). All in all the site - forum included - is ... interesting.

I miss the Metal Maniacs message board, incidentally. That place was a zoo. There's no forum even remotely as entertaining as was that one.
