The new WREKage.org
WREKage.org has undergone a huge, and long overdue, redesign. As you'll see the content has been trimmed down for a simpler site focusing more on just the radio show WREKage. The other stuff dealing with the Atlanta metal scene will eventually be rolled into the AtlantaMetal web site (currently no ETA).
There are a few features of the site that are not yet functional and a few that have been simply ported over but due for more redesign. Hang in there and enjoy the new shit as it gets done.
A huge thanks to the doctor of stylesheets bid for laying down the css! Also thanks to the good folks at Apple computer for their contribution.

Well I didn't think we'd please everybody but it's going in the right direction (at least it's going). please contribute to this work in progress.holly wrote:I think it's awesome!
I still maintain, however, that I do not like the blues and yellows.
bid said they probably weren't final, though.
I wasn't expecting the site out as quickly but with most of it functioning and looking so much better than the old one I couldn't resist. The remaining features will take a while to implement, besides we would wait forever for perfection.
ads are good - click on the ads - ads are good
Don't forget to click on the Google ads on the botom and side of the site. Even if you're not interested you're sending a message to advertisers that metal is important. and you're helping to pay for the site too...
update: basic searching is now working. This is available on every page on the right just below the 'Listen to WREKage' link. The search is an automatic wildcard search of each word that you enter - there's no need to enter wild card characters like * or %. The search is applied to all data in the WREKage and AtlantaMetal databases.
Examples of the searching & wildcard behavior:
suppose you search for die evil ream
you'll get stuff back like:
devil driver - I dreamed I died

a whole bunch of times
enjoy & let me know if you experience any problems.

The WREKage Reviews main page has been modified to show all the availble reviews. Check it out in case you missed one of Greg's classic album reviews!
Slight change on the Music Library page. The page loads by default with whatever albums the WREKage staff has entered, presumably received, in the last 31 days. You can also click on the links to see all the albums of bands starting w/ the letter of the link(alphabet retrieval). If you need searching then simply use the search field conveniently located toward the top right of every page.
CDDB links added to the Library page. Clicking the CDDB image will take that item's info to the Gracenote CDDB site to retrieve the album info. These are not guaranteed to get a match on the CDDB site but so far it's been pretty good.
