Style'in and Profile'in

Post by BoB » Thu August 11th, 2005, 2:54 pm

I've changed the board styles around a bit. There are currently two to choose from - Charcoal2 (default) and SubDark. You can change yours by clicking the 'Profile' link and setting the Board Style.

It may not matter, since I'm using the lighter one, but a lot of the darker one you can't read (the orange & white text are kinda harsh & when it quotes, it puts white text on light gray).

I like the lack of yellow/orange in the lighter one, though.

the only thing here that's harsh is a response from holly :P
I find most of Charcoal2 pretty easy & pleasing - maybe you need a new monitor. or maybe I do... SubDark is nice and simple. If anyone really hates both of these, is having seizures or anything to that affect let me know and I'll consider adding more styles.

ewh yeah the 2nd level quotes are nasty. I'll try to tweak this next week.

Yeah, that goes without saying.
The orange might just be me, who knows.
I don't think I've had any monitor discrepancies in the past that I can remember...

one request,
can the login bar go on the top again? I don't like it on the bottom. It's a small little thing. So its no big deal if it can't be fixed.

There's a log-in button at the top still, up in the right hand corner under the profile button.

He meant the boxes, not the button that redirects you to another page.

OK - if you're using the Charcoal2 (default) theme, hit Refresh on your browser, otherwise you probably won't be seeing all the updates. I've tweaked the color scheme and updated the graphics. Orange is gone and the 'white on almost white' is improved greatly.
