Do metalheads vote?
I'm posting this in the Toilet because I did vote today and now I feel like puking.

My party is never on the ballot, so I vote for what is closest to my ideals - and that's still a long way off. I vote as often as possible, but I don't think that everyone should. If you don't care or "politics aren't your thing" don't sweat it. It's fine not to have an opinion.
To me, the main thing that counts in these kinds of elections is the referendums and amendments. However, you better be schooled on what they mean and who they are intended to please before walking into that booth; the language is convoluted and the special interest are obscured.
So, yeah. I voted.

That's too bad!GameFreac wrote:I don't vote because I have no idea what's going on in the world...I don't pay attention to politics or care.
I voted and have since the age of 18 and in as involved as I can be at the time. More of a local interest that affects me. It's a privilege and everyone should be take it seriously. Now off my soap-box.

I keep a casual interest in politics. I want to be aware of what's going on in the world. At the same time I don't care enough to remember each senator and their little black agenda. People spend their whole dedicating to politics and even some of them still don't know what they're talking about so I don't get too worked about politics.
