Hey I just heard the "The Doctor is in" promo on WREK. Nice job!

A few years ago (back when Jonathan was still host), I had my grandmother do a wrekage promo, and I had her talking about "GETTING YOUR HEAD BASHED IN EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!" and listing off a bunch of band names like Dying Fetus and stuff. It ran a little long, and there was a drug reference ("So pack yourself a bowl, and turn your radio dial to 91.1...") so I think he only played it a couple of times.
I think I deleted it from my computer when she passed away last year. I felt bad about it then

Haha that rules (the promo idea, not the part about your grandma dying).AmoebicDysentery wrote:A few years ago (back when Jonathan was still host), I had my grandmother do a wrekage promo, and I had her talking about "GETTING YOUR HEAD BASHED IN EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!" and listing off a bunch of band names like Dying Fetus and stuff. I made the doctor one at about 4 in the morning a few weeks ago and barely even remember doing it, I'll try to do some sort of tribute to your grandma next week or something.
Here's the real deal. I recalled bid having it archived and it's still around.AmoebicDysentery wrote:A few years ago (back when Jonathan was still host), I had my grandmother do a wrekage promo, and I had her talking about "GETTING YOUR HEAD BASHED IN EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!" and listing off a bunch of band names like Dying Fetus and stuff.
