I thought it was a good show too, definitely one of the better mixes of bands we've had in a while.

The Withered tracks were really good, Ground Xero was kick ass as usual. Was the Hallows Eve DIE from the original album? Parts of it sounded newer for some reason... maybe it's the cold air hitting my head.

D.I.E. is on Death and Insanity. It's the first song on side Insanity.

Speaking of Hallows Eve, I'm going to be making an effort, maybe this week if I get some free time, to put some of our obscure vinyl on cd, to ensure the music lives on longer. Here were some of the albums I was gonna do, let me know if there are any other suggestions.

Exhorder - Slaughter In The Vatican
Hallows Eve - Death and Insanity
Hallows Eve - Monument
Necropolis - Contemplating Slaughter
Onslaught - Power From Hell

Gotta save the Celtic Frost albums.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head that's back there, I'll look some more over the week and let you know what I like back there.

Cool! From looking at the vinyl catalog here are my additions to the list:
  • Coroner
    Dark Angel
    Death Angel
    Forbidden
    INC
    King Diamond
    Laaz Rockit - Annihilation Principle
    Megadeth - RIP
    Mordred
    Overkill - [your pick]
    Sacrifice
    Voivod
    Venom

Good plan. Some of the vinyl isn't in the best shape and will only get worse the more it's played.
This isn't really and option right now, but if we ever got some money buying the remastered albums on CD would be awesome.

Slayer - the amount of times we've played this I can't believe they're not dead already
Anything else should be more towards albums that are hard to find on CD.
Like Toxik.

I should request something from this album sometime. I still think it's still the best Megadeth album they had and probably will ever have.

I agree unless Dave picks up his heroin habit again!

btw Dan: I was too excited looking at the vinyl listing to think of what I already have on file or cd. I could set you up with the Coroner, Dark Angel, Death Angel, Kind Diamond, Megabreath & Voivod. Let me know what format works best for you (file, mp3 on cd, regular audio cd) and container if cd (just the cd, case, label, etc).

Perhaps WREKage would be open to music donations from whoever wants to contribute. There's a lot of other stuff that I have that I could copy.

Of course we are, but that doesn't happen all that often...
Maybe we should make an open call for donations?
I think we'd come out with a TON of stuff on this...

yeah you probably would get a lot in. But it would be helpful if people knew the best format/casing to submit material. do you want cassette tapes??

How funny would that be?
This is a good idea to ponder, though...

Some guy a few weeks ago sent in a bunch of burned cds and I wound up playing stuff off of a lot of them, so at least one person knows. Maybe we could put something about it on the page that has our address and everything?

Also I have the first Slayer album on cd and Death - Leprosy if no one else does, so I've got them covered if we need a Wrekage copy of either one.
