There used to be a brutal death metal band from London, Ontario called Summertime Daisies. I saw them play live twice. Seriously.

Hah. When I read Zane's post the first band I thought of was Summertime Daises.

that's an awesome name! haha you wouldn't even know it was death metal until they started playing I suppose.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

i like this old local band with jimmy bower (when he used to live here) called the melts. they were good.

I always thought that the "Dis-" names were the best....like so:

By the way, you have to imagine a guy in corpsepaint on stage growling this.....and it would be prefaced with "we come from the grim dark cold forests of Norway and we are called...."
