this movie was at The Fox last night. Who went? I did. It was awesome...the Metalsone Monday band opened and they played 5 songs and for each one, someone else sang. For the last song, a dude dressed in drag sang Walk...it was fuckin hilarious! It would have been really funny if his wig fell off but he did do a good job with the song.

All I know is as soon as that movie comes out on DVD I'm buying it. This dude goes into the history of metal, he has interviews (some with Dio, one with Mayhem and more), footage from shows, interviews with sociologists, authors, Satanists...the interview with Gaahl was hilarious...

I must say, this documentary is definitely worthwhile!

i thought it was really good. i had a great time watching it at the fox. my only problem is that he had cradle of filth as a norwegian band. it wasnt' really a problem, just an observation of an oversight.

Some guy from the Fox emailed me about promoting the movie on WREKage and giving out tickets on the air.....then apparently thought the show was on Saturday night. Err, oops.

Definitely one I'll get on DVD, as every review has been pretty good.

LOL at the CoF fuckup, though.
