I never said I condone the killings.

So what would be better the Jews to cross over the border in the middle of the night and kiddnapp a few arabs and murder a few. Why is the UN so fast to condem the Jews but it took weeks for them to condem the missle test of north Korea. The UN is completely anti-semitic and it seems the same witht he rest of the world. You can't tell me that the UN isn't corrupt. The missles that Israel are using are the ones we sold them which means they are GSP controled hitting the target they are suppose to. Not like the ones Hezbollah have that once fired you have no control over. Not only that but I find it hard to believe that these rockets Hezbollah are launching are only killing less then a dozen or so civilians.

Lebanon has had a few chances to get Hezbollah out but has done nothing about it. There is such a small amount of Jews in the middle compared to the Arabs where are the Jews suppose to go. Every time they give up land it is never enough the killings go on. Oh as far as the reason why Hamas and Hezbollah was created was to combat the Jews by Iran and Syria.

The Jews gave a warning to the people of Lebanon before they started this champane.

The US troops that are in Afganistan and Iraq are there to set up a strike againts Iran and Syria to deal with them.

Sounds like WW3 to me with what you are saying and that can not be a good thing. The UN is corrupt, very corrupt but remember my friend North Korea doesnt have oil. Bush's foreign policy is a disaster and I could really go into a lot of details further with the whole New World Order and one world global empire but why bother, right? I think this whole thing in the middle east is set up for destruction of the human race as we know it and the elite can sit on their high horse laughing at all of us.

I just wanted to add about the creation of Hamas. If you research it you will find as sad as it sounds that the Israeli govt and Mossad created Hamas. I know that sounds hard to believe but its true. The creation of Hezzbollah was stated a few posts earlier in 1982 to combat the Israeli occupation of Lebanon.

Your right I did my research this is what I found on wikipedia so there is no "spin" on it.

Hamas (Arabic: حركة حماس‎; acronym: Arabic: حركة المقاومة الاسلامية‎, or Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiyya or "Islamic Resistance Movement") is a Palestinian Sunni Islamist organization that currently forms the democratically elected government of the Palestinian people. It is listed as a terrorist organization by Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union,[1] Israel, and the United States,[2] and is banned in Jordan,[3] while others consider it to be an independence movement.

Created in 1987 by Shaikh Ahmed Yassin of the Gaza wing of the Muslim Brotherhood at the beginning of the First Intifada, Hamas is known chiefly for its suicide bombings [4] and other attacks directed against Israeli civilians, as well as military and security forces targets. Hamas' charter (written in 1988 and still in force) calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and its replacement with a Palestinian Islamic state in the area that is now Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.[5]

According to the U.S. State Dept, Hamas is funded by Iran, Palestinian expatriates, and private benefactors in Saudi Arabia and other Arab states.[2] In a 2002 report, Human Rights Watch stated that Hamas' leaders "should be held accountable for the war crimes and crimes against humanity" that have been committed by its members. The same report quoted Reuven Paz, former head of research for the Shin Bet (Israeli intelligence agency), who described Hamas as "an authentic product of Palestinian society under Israeli rule, more so than the PA." (Palestinian Authority).[6]

Hamas won 74 of 132 seats in the January 2006 Palestinian legislative election and is now the majority party of the Palestinian Legislative Council. Its vehemently anti-Israeli rhetoric has found a receptive audience amongst Palestinians, some of whom perceived the preceding Fatah government as corrupt and ineffective. Hamas has also established an extensive network of welfare programs throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, further adding to its popularity. Since Hamas took control, the Palestinian territories have experienced a period of sharp internal conflicts, known as Fauda, in which many Palestinians were killed in internecine fighting.[2]

Beliefs
Founded in 1987, Hamas was the Gaza Strip branch of the Pan-Arab (Sunni) Islamist Muslim Brotherhood movement, which had been founded in Egypt. Hamas is opposed to the existence of Israel and has denounced the 1993 Oslo Accords, the foundation of the failed peace process, as a "betrayal of God's will". However, in 2004, Hamas offered a 10 years truce, or hudna, in exchange for several conditions including a complete withdrawal from the occupied territories
Hamas regards the territory of the present-day State of Israel ? as well as the Gaza Strip and the West Bank ? as an inalienable Islamic waqf or religious bequest, which can never be surrendered to non-Muslims. It asserts that struggle (jihad) to regain control of the land from Israel is the religious duty of every Muslim (fard `ain). This position is more radical than that now held by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which in 1988 recognized Israel's sovereignty. Hamas does not recognize Israel as a sovereign state and refers to it as the "Zionist entity", a common hostile term in Arab political rhetoric, and calls for an end to the state of Israel in its charter. During the election campaign, Hamas did not mention its call for the destruction of Israel in its electoral manifesto.[10] However several Hamas candidates insist that the charter is still in force and often called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" in campaign speeches. On January 25th, 2006, after winning the Palestinian elections, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar gave an interview to Al-Manar TV denouncing foreign demands that Hamas recognize Israel's right to exist.[11] After the establishment of Hamas government, Dr Al-Zahar stated his "dreams of hanging a huge map of the world on the wall at my Gaza home which does not show Israel on it...I hope that our dream to have our independent state on all historic Palestine (including Israel). This dream will become real one day. I'm certain of this because there is no place for the state of Israel on this land". He also "didn't rule out the possibility of having Jews, Muslims and Christians living under the sovereignty of an Islamic state, adding that the Palestinians never hated the Jews and that only the Israeli occupation was their enemy".[12]

Hamas's charter calls for the eventual destruction of the state of Israel and the creation of an Islamic Republic in its place.[13] Hamas sees this view as an Islamic religious duty and prophesy which comes directly from the Qur'an and as such can not be compromised, however the group has not set a specific date for such destruction of Israel, Hamas founder, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, has mentioned the year 2027 as the possible date for destruction of Israel.[14] The group has not issued a clear statement about how it would deal with the current population of Israel, should it succeed in overthrowing Israeli and secular Palestinian government. Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi, one of its co-founders, stated that the movement's goal is "to remove Israel from the map".[15] However, on February 13, 2005, Hamas leader Khaled Mashal declared that Hamas would stop armed struggle against Israel if Israel recognized the 1967 borders, withdrew from all Palestinian territories and accept the demand for Palestinian "Right of Return" (see below).

According to the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Hamas views the Arab-Israeli conflict as "a religious struggle between Islam and Judaism that can only be resolved by the destruction of the State of Israel".[16] Hamas uses both political activities and violence to pursue its goal of establishing an Islamic Palestinian state in place of Israel and the secular Palestinian Authority. Israeli military operations during the al-Aqsa Intifada in 2002 put pressure on Hamas in the West Bank following several bombings in Israel for which Hamas claimed responsibility.

The Covenant of Hamas
The 1988 Hamas Covenant (or Charter) states that the organization's goal is to "raise the banner of God over every inch of Palestine," in order to establish an Islamic Republic.

The thirty-six articles of the Covenant detail the movement's Islamist beliefs regarding the primacy of Islam in all aspects of life. The Covenant identifies Hamas as the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine and considers its members to be Muslims who "fear God and raise the banner of Jihad in the face of the oppressors." Hamas describes resisting and quelling the enemy as the individual duty of every Muslim and prescribes revolutionary roles for all members of society; including men and women, professionals, scientists and students.

The slogan of Hamas is "God is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Qur'an its constitution: Jihad is its path and death for the sake of God is the loftiest of its wishes." Hamas states that its objective is to support the oppressed and wronged and "to bring about justice and defeat injustice, in word and deed." Hamas believes that "the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf (trust) consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgement Day," and as such, the land cannot be negotiated away by any political leader. Hamas rejects "so-called peaceful solutions and international conferences" as incapable of realizing justice or restoring rights to the oppressed, believing "there is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad."

The Covenant outlines the organization's position on various issues, including social and economic development and ideological influences, education, as well as its position regarding Israel. Amongst many other things, it reiterates the group's rejection of the coexistence principle of the peace process in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict:

Preface: "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it." (A quote by Imam Hassan al Banna)

Article 6: "The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine, for under the wing of Islam followers of all religions can coexist in security and safety where their lives, possessions and rights are concerned..."

Article 11: "The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Muslim generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up."

Article 13: "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors. The Palestinian people know better than to consent to having their future, rights and fate toyed with."

Article 28: "The Zionist invasion is a vicious invasion ... It relies greatly in its infiltration and espionage operations on the secret organizations it gave rise to, such as the Freemasons, The Rotary and Lions clubs, and other sabotage groups. All these organizations, whether secret or open, work in the interest of Zionism and according to its instructions ..."

Article 31: "The Islamic Resistance Movement is a humanistic movement. It takes care of human rights and is guided by Islamic tolerance when dealing with the followers of other religions. It does not antagonize anyone of them except if it is antagonized by it or stands in its way to hamper its moves and waste its efforts. Under the wing of Islam, it is possible for the followers of the three religions - Islam, Christianity and Judaism - to coexist in peace and quiet with each other."

Article 32: "After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying."[18]

Suicide attacks are an element of what the group sees as its asymmetric warfare against Israel. Since the group considers all Israel to be a "militarized society" (there is mandatory military service for most Jewish men and women) and Israelis to be participants in an illegal occupation of Palestinian land, Hamas does not distinguish between Israeli civilian and military targets [citation needed]. This failure to distinguish between combatants and non-combatants and the group's willingness to target civilian facilities including buses, supermarkets, and restaurants is one of the main trait which supports its classification as a terrorist movement (although Hamas claims being a national liberation movement).

If we are in it for oil why not bomb the shit out of Venezuela. Venezuela has 80 billion barrels of oil reserves, according to PDVSA figures, the largest in the Western Hemisphere and making up approximately half the total. This puts Venezuela as fifth in the world in proven reserves of conventional oil. By also including an estimated 235 billion barrels of tar-like extra heavy crude oil in the Orinoco Belt region, Venezuela claims to hold the largest hydrocarbon reserves in the world. Venezuela also has 150 trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves.Venezuela is one of the five founding members of OPEC. The principal aim of the Organization, according to its Statute, is "the coordination and unification of the petroleum policies of its member countries and the determination of the best means for safeguarding their interests, individually and collectively; devising ways and means of ensuring the stabilization of prices in international oil markets with a view to eliminating harmful and unnecessary fluctuations; giving due regard at all times to the interests of the producing nations and to the necessity of securing a steady income to the producing countries; an efficient, economic and regular supply of petroleum to consuming nations, and a fair return on their capital to those investing in the petroleum industry."[1]

OPEC's influence on the market has not always been a stabilizing one, however. It alarmed the world and triggered high inflation across both the developing and developed world through its use of the oil weapon in the 1973 oil crisis. Its ability to control the price of oil has diminished greatly since its heyday, following the much-expanded development of the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, and the growing fluidity of the market. However, OPEC still has considerable impact on the price of oil. It is still commonly used as a textbook example of a cartel.

A cartel is a group of formally independent producers whose goal it is to fix prices, to limit supply and to limit competition. Cartels are prohibited by antitrust laws in most countries; however, they continue to exist nationally and internationally, formally and informally. Note that a single entity that holds a monopoly by this definition cannot be a cartel, though it may be guilty of abusing said monopoly in other ways. As such, it is inaccurate to describe (for example) Microsoft or AT&T as cartels. Cartels usually occur in oligopolies, where there are a small number of sellers

Do you know why most nations hate America because of the personal freedoms given to anyone who wants them? How many nationalities live in America that can live in peace with one another?

Now as far as the Carlyle Group goes it sounds to me like they put all there support behind bush. Bush then turned around and started doing what he thought was right now the Carlyle Group has nothing to do with him. Oh wait I am wrong they have something to do with him they bash him every time he turns around. If you don't believe me who do you think owns CNN you should really do some research yourself on the Carlyle Group and who is in it. I think goober boy NeuroNomicon had a few good points now but I don't think it?s the will of the people of America just that of the evil corporation the Carlyle Group. Then again look at all the ex presidents of foreign nations that sever on the board.

Was even discussed on NBC so you dont think I am getting it from a conspiracy website. Anyone with a half a brain knows it. And Bush was on the board of directors of the Carlye Group as well as the Bin Laden family. They did and still do business together

I imagine it's because people like you comprise such a ridiculous percentage of Americans. Notice that more educated cultures and societies tend to favor reality and communication over the cult-ish fairy tale-like crap like you're spouting.

Your world view resembles something from the stone age. Stop. You're offending the internet.

You are wrong about Hamas I have given you the history of Hamas and it seems you can't fully get your mind around it. You don't even think for yourself, when you make statements like they oil tycoons of america this statement here is absurd when in fact the only true oil tycoons are that of foreign nations what do you think OPEC is you fucking moron. NBC is owned by the Carlye Group so you can take that shit and shove it right up your ass this is assuming there is still space left. I think the governments bread and butter is missinformation look at what we were doing during the cold war nothing but missinformation. How about this you start posting websites that have factual information that isn't bais and maybe I will consider there to be some kind of conspiracy. Oh and by the way Wikipedia looks at if from both sides and it give its resources.

Terrorists...blah blah...Shock and Awe...Conspiracy theory...blah...Cut and run...blah blah blah...freedom...blah blah...

Look, dude. The only thing the US is trying to liberate is Pterodactyl Juice. The Middle East has been corrupted by Islam. You can't wage an endless "war" against an ideology. You can't shoot "Allah". We'll never win, so that is a completely baseless argument. Let's go to the Middle East and pass out bibles so we can get them hooked on another fairy tale. "Jesus died for your sins, now finance this Hummer for the next 20 years". If that's what we're bringing, collectively, to the Middle East, and we think it's going to work, then we're being led by lunatics.

Now, if we're there to get the Triceratops Slime then a war makes sense.

Quit hiding behind rhetoric and religious zealotry and delve into the abyss of common sense. Our sandy adventures are not benign, and the Iraqi people are the least of the concerns of the US government.
