Carnivore "Reunion"

Post by Strange » Wed August 9th, 2006, 10:39 am

Just curious what you guys think about this "reunion." Basically, Pete Steele has hired 2 guitarists and a drummer who were never in Carnivore and they've played a few festivals in Europe and have booked a few east coast dates.

I know in my heart that it isn't truly Carnivore, but if they book a gig within a day's drive of here, I just might have to go.

it should be fun. Steele was the heart of that band so I don't mind the lineup change. Besides one of the original guys is dead.

I've seen TypeO- play Carnivore songs and that was good.

True and true...and unfortunate.

Yeah, I remember them playing God is Dead and Race War at the Wrekage benefit. That was cool as shit!

So, do you think they'll come anywhere near here?

I'd hope they make it down here, went down to the Cotton Club to see Immolation open for SFU then got upstairs to see Type O Negative, where I ran into.. Immolation headbanging away. Great show, aside from the painful hilarity that was Coal Chamber.
