Meehans DVD

Last night I loaded up some footage from the July 10 show at Meehans and decided I was going to rework the entire thing since I have better software now. I thought I'd again try to see how many people want a copy of this. I've given a number of them to various people, but you of course won't have the re-worked version. The differences are not going to be all the drastic as far as sound quality but it will be much better visually, with sharper and clearer colors, and of course with awesome graphics!! To give an example, I've been working on a logo for myself that will play at the beginning of each DVD I make. I managed to upload it to my site last night... if anyone wants to see it, its:

This is not the final version by any means but it's a start. I'd really like to do something cool like this with the band logos but I'll need to get more hi-rez versions of those.
So anyways, message or email me if you're interested in a copy of this. Mind you it takes me awhile to get a DVD burned, and I still have to edit the rest of the footage. But I think when I'm done I'll have something a lot better than the first one. Also if anyone who's got broadband wants to help me out and put it on Utube, feel free.
I'm going to be out in a few weeks again with the new camcorder(got the crappy Samsung replaced with a Panasonic), and willl try to get more footage then. If anyone would specifically like me to record your show, please contact me... I don't know if I can do it right away because I'm a bit strapped for cash, but maybe we can make some kind of arrangements.

Hey Pat, I've been trying to get with you to give you a copy, but I can never seem to catch you... I think the last time I saw you was when you were playing bass for Sybaritic at the masquerade on August 5 and I didn't have a copy with me at the time. I only got one song of yours anyway, but it's pretty cool because it's got the toilet plunger bit hehe. Anyways, let me know if you're able to meet sometime soon and I'll be sure and bring a copy for ya. Speaking of which I wonder if you might allow me to incorporate the Pork segment into this... I wasn't able to get there in time to film them and it would be cool to have more footage on it. I'd of course put your name in there as credit.

I bit the bullet last night - couldn't stop myself -- and went to Ziggy's. And now i have some kickass footage of SMI and Legion X as well as this weird grunge band called Stone Line, which was eerily reminiscent of Anal Secretion. One of the guys was pretty much naked for all intents and purposes and the singer was naked except for a g-string, and the guitarist was dressed like Elvis. They were throwing grits out into the audience and also diapars which people were putting on their heads. Just weird and bizarre enough to be fucking hilarious! I've got a couple of their songs now on video and as soon as I can figure out how to capture video off this camcorder I'll have a DVD of that too -- with of course the SMI and Legion X stuff on it.

Oh, by all means, dude! My priority was always to get it to the bands that played there, and I've been wanting to get you one. I've been waiting to hear when yall were going to play next, but I could always mail it to ya too. I am probably going to try to make it to the Opeth show if there are still tickets left in a couple of weeks -- are you guys selling them? Anyways, if I can get to that show I'll be sure to bring a copy or two or three, and if you guys are selling tickets I'll get mine from you.
