I don't think anyone at WREK gets paid, except for deejays who receive a pittance ($10 or something) for doing daytime shifts....is that right, official WREK-folk?

Ha, no.
I got $15/month for contest director, and like $50/month for publicity director.
The $7-10/hour for DJ shifts was only an incentive to have shifts in the Summer, so pretty much the only people who get paid during the year are the exec staff and people who run the board during sports.

There was a period of a few months last year when I was getting checks for $100-150 each from backpay for Summer shifts and my publicity director pay.
It ruled.

management gets payed at WRAS. I think the general manager and the music director get the most...somewhere around $450/ month. I get $150/ month for being our production director. At least I get payed for something. DJs don't get payed at all. I think we have like 50+ DJs and 13 people on management.

Always a few steps behind the bandwagon, WUOG 90.5FM Athens now has From Exile in local rotation. Feel free to request them anytime, but you'll have the best luck during our local music show every Tues/Thurs from 8-10pm, or during Loud Fast Rules Tuesday 10pm-midnight.
