NHL on NBC
America,
Hockey fans can rejoice since the NHL is back on network television starting this Saturday. At 2pm NBC will be airing the Pittsburgh/Philly game and then the Thrashers/Flyers game Sunday at 3:30. They'll be broadcasting most Sunday games until the end of the season.
Good news for me and other ATL hockey fans since we don't live in Canada and don't have the PayPerView package.

I don't know how they get away with that.
I don't know about cable channels, but major networks won't broadcast the home team if not enough people buy tickets.holly wrote:DING DING.Vince wrote:AND because turner south/fucking sport south whatever doesn't broadcast all of the thrashers games for some unknown reason. Well yeah, but when a channel is regional and supposed to be a sponsor of the team, one would think they'd be broadcasting all of the games.Mike wrote:I don't know about cable channels, but major networks won't broadcast the home team if not enough people buy tickets.holly wrote:DING DING.Vince wrote:AND because turner south/fucking sport south whatever doesn't broadcast all of the thrashers games for some unknown reason. Also, doesn't Turner own the Thrashers?
So why wouldn't a Turner channel show all of the games?
Dur.
That's like Comcast not playing all of the Flyers games on Comcast Sports Net.
STUPID.
