I didn't know they had a new one coming out. Before I use up precious harddrive space, how does is stack up to previous works?
Fuck it, Dude, let's go bowling.

You can definitely hear the difference between the style here and on the last album. This one has tons of riffs and more thrashy sound. Let's hope other songs are just as good or even better...

i doubt that machine head will ever regain that form. both are awesome albums and i think machine head lost their way along time ago.

Oh I don't expect that, but their last album was at least a step in the right direction and much more enjoyable than previous ones.

i haven't even heard anything off of their last album to be honest. i've only heard them on accident since the day i bought and destroyed "the burning red".

i loved burn my eyes though and the more things change is a damn fine album as well.

Blah, I just heard the whole album. I'm very disappointed. Through The Ashes Of Empires was much better. Aesthetics of Hate is probably the "only" fastest track on there. Other crap sounds Soulflyish.

I just got this and I don't think it's nearly as bad as Soulfly. Aesthetics of Hate is a good track. I'll have to keep listening and see if the songs grab me. The solos are definately top notch.

I think it's the best thing they've done since TMTC. Easily the heaviest.

The song coherence of the first two albums still isn't there, but the riffs, the shredding, and the drum work are all solid as hell!
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

That channel rules! Or 'ruled,' for me, since Adelphia doesn't have it. I'm hoping Comcast brings it back after their assimilation of Adelphia is complete.
