you could tell that most of it was fake anyway. TRACES OF DEATH was the real deal though.......and it also had an all metal soundtrack.

I heard of traces of death but never have seen it anywhere. Faces of death...I thought some of it was staged and some of it was real.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???

you used to be able to rent the traces of death movies from video wonderland and smaller rental chains like that. but now blockbuster and hollywood video have basically killed off any smaller chains.

traces of death was pretty hardcore. it had footage of helicopter gunmen mowing down vietnamese people running through fields with a death metal soundtrack. autopsy videos, crime scene videos, car accidents, suicides......etc....etc. they were basically the video form of rotten.com and everything faces of death wasn't.

there were quite a few of them, i'm not sure but at least 4.

i used to date this super hot chick that worked at a video wonderland and i'd go see her at the store and we'd put traces of death on all the tv's. she ultimately got fired b/c people complained about it. she was a total prep and i was obsessed with the fact that she loved the traces of death series.

and i think that the traces of death series should be required watching for anyone about to get their license. its like a huge anti-drunk driving ad without even trying. i know when i watched clips of police officers and coroners picking brain matter up amongst dozens of beer cans at the scene of an accident that i would never drive drunk. its actual evidence that its a horrible idea.
