They get a bad rap for the solos... It's just a buncha killer shit compacted into like five seconds. Sorta sounds like Greg Ginn trying to be "metal." Not really a bad thing in my book.

I Love Slayer man...Jeff and Kerry are reponsible for some of the most neck brecking riffing ever. I was just saying they're riffing is what makes them one of my favs not their super rushed solos.

y'all listed the greats already but I have to add:

Barry Thompson & Gavin Ward from Bolt Thrower :twisted:
and Kirk hammet (yeah, yeah bash me all you want!) You can't deny their awesomeness from the 80s.
They had you do a drug test and the forgot to test for drugs???
