What's the verdict of the new Master's Hammer? I hope to pick that one up soon.

Legions of Astaroth - Rites of Somantic Death
Benighted in Sodom - In Hora Maledictus: Part I
Pest - Tenebris Obortis (CD-R)

Incidentally, I'm having a bitch of a time tracking down an official hard copy of that new Pest release without shelling out €20 or more just for shipping. I'm pretty sure it's vinyl only right now. Looking for domestic availibility. Any leads you maniacs could send my way would be massively appreciated.

Fantastic. I'll write it up before LHP goes into Yule mode and shuts down so I can drink more.

Nah I just found out about them this friday. Brian actually showed them to me at the radio show. I dig the fuck out of The Sword and he said I would like Saviours.
Whats their new one called? I'll have to check it out. I'm listening to Into Abaddon pretty hard right now.

In my opinion Crucifire (the album before Into Abaddon) is better than IA so if you dig that one check out Crucifire for sure. Its basically just a rawer more riffed out version of IA. The new one, Accelerated Living, is much faster overall. Its still got a couple of IA and Crucifire sounding songs which rule but the majority is total Motorhead and Judas Priest worship with a big nod to early US thrash metal. Its their best imo as they basically combine the sound and style from the first two with faster stuff. Contender for my album of the year and highly rec'd.

also today:

Insect Warfare - Endless Execution through Violent Restitution
Insect Warfare - World Extermination
Terrorizer - World Downfall
Pentagram - Relentless
Mercyful Fate - Nuns Have No Fun EP
Mercyful Fate - Melissa
Magrudergrind - s/t
Arsedestroyer - Teenass Revolt
Impetigo - Horror of the Zombies
...and as i type this:
Turbonegro - Apocalypse Dudes
SPEWTILATOR - Badass motherfuckin' street cops with nothing to lose who don't play by the rules and are out for blood.
