You'd be surprised. There are rim sets out there that can cost about $17,000. And people DO pay for them.

After being marooned in Midtown during Freaknik one year, just two blocks north on Peachtree from where that lady was being raped in broad daylight at almost the same time, I can definitely say

GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE.



Interesting tidbit: did y'all know that an Atlanta FD fire-station on the Southside was taken over by Freaknik "revelers" one year and had to be retaken by force?

I'm actually all for anarchic behavior in general (not to mention half nekkid snake-draped females), but when it serves absolutely no purpose other than reinforcing negative stereotypes that people have literally worked for decades to overcome then you've pretty well lost the plot.

Thankfully this year was a flop. I saw a few scantily clad ladies that looked like they were headed out to party, but that's nothing you wouldn't normally see on a Friday/Saturday night in ATL anyway.
