It sounds like they really added melody to the instruments. The older stuff is just in your face! (def not a bad thing!) I suppose this could be really good if he left the clean vocals out entirely. The latter half with the crustier vocals is more of what I would expect but it's still a bit too 'poppy' for me. I don't think it sucks though, just not quite what I would expect from Amebix. Hey, it's not Morbid Angel LOL

I love both Arise! and Monolith, and I don't think this sucks at all. I think it's pretty fucking cool.

its different from Arise!, but i dig this. it sounds like they've gone in a much more gothic direction. Taking the sound of the later recordings like "right to ride" and running with it. The more I listen to this the more I like it. And the video is awesome.
