no insurance, can't afford meds so i listen to alot of dsbm myself

check out ...
Forgotten Tomb... they are a little more on the doomy side
Lifelover
Lost Inside
Shining - the Swedish band not the faggy Norwegian one
Sombres Forets
totalselfhatred
Wedard
Leviathan
Xasthur
be persecuted
coldworld
an autumn for crippled children
happy days
hypothermia
mortualia
exiled from light
trancelike void....i love this band and alot of people lump them in with dsbm but they seem more like post rock doom
kargvint
nekros manteia
sui caedere

and though i don't listen to them they are renowned for this genre is silencer ...the vocals don't do it for me as they are just croaked and overall i find them a little boring

no problem , glad to help shoot me a line and let me know what you think of them, which you like the best , alot of those bands have started to evolve past the traditional dsbm sound , like shining which has turned the most commercial leaf , so steer clear of their new stuff start with the eerie cold and work your way forward so the new stuff won't be such a shock, also notice some of the more recent album by totalselfhatred have picked up speed and are sounding more like death metal
change is good , the production improved greatly , which sometimes is the only complaint i have of the genre is the production sucks but like with the first wave of nsbm i got used to it to a degree

Has anyone heard this new Cannabis Corpse record? It rips. All the song titles are Morbid Angel and Deicide knockoffs. Visions from the Dank Side, Chapel of Bowls, Blaze of Torment, Immortal Pipes, Where the Kind Lives, Lunatic of Pot's Creation, etc.
