Free Turntable

OFF THE MARKET FOR NOW

I may offer it up again after I get belt fixed. Thanks to eggyolkeo for tracking down the part for me.

When I unpacked and set up my old turntable (that had been packed away for about 8 years after I had gotten a better one) I found that the belt had turned to gum on it and that the platter will no longer spin. I started to track down a replacement belt, but then just gave up and bought a new table.

This is a Technics SL-BD35. It's about twenty years old and way discontinued. I have no idea if belts are interchangeable or if there is a way to track down an OEM or aftermarket part or if it's possible to fabricate a belt.

I just don't feel right about throwing it away, so if you're handy with this kind of shit and you want it, it's yours.

Turntable only.
