I was doing my trendy metal cd shopping at the Southlake Media Play yesterday, and saw a little tag (strangely in the "m" section of the cds) that said the new Opeth will be in the store on Aug. 30. Supposedly.

And actually, I suppose my shopping day wasn't too trendy, because I bought the newer Finntroll cd -- after hearing one of their songs on WREKage the week before last. Very good drinking music.

That new Obituary is pretty decent, but I was hoping for something a bit more explosive or energetic. Definately worth listening too though.. new Cryptopsy and new Gorgoroth are what I await the most.
