oh ya just remembered,Stouts with coffee in them do not age well at all because the coffee in them goes stale relatively fast.
I kept a terrapin coffee oatmeal istout in tha fridge for about a year and it was stale as hell and I ended up pouring it out. When it was fresh tho it was fantastic.
Drink those founders breakfast stouts while their fresh!and try the founders red rye ipa's, one of my favs

Yeah I don't think they're gonna age well with the fluctuating temperatures so I guess I'll just drink them. I got another 4 pack the other day since they got a new shipment.

Also got Terrapin Wake n Bake...it's great.

And I got a 6 pack of Lagunitas Sucks...fucking love this beer.

I tried that Lagunitas Sucks and am unsure what I think of it. It's a bit grapefruity which is just plain odd in a beer. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Just picked up a four pack of Delirium Tremens. Man, I love that pink elephant. Can't wait to get home late tonight and knock back a couple of those and then sleep like the dead.

The best thing I've come across in awhile was the Victory Festbier. It's got that velvety mouth feel like Weihenstephan and has a light chocolatey finish that's much lighter than the Rogue Chocolate Stout. That beer was way too heavy for me.

As a regular pounder, Modelo is the jam.

Had an Old Rasputin with pizza last night. I like OR a lot but it doesn't really pair with garlicky, cheesy shit too well. Nonetheless, I drained that fucker hastily.

Stiegl Pilsner. Finally. Tastes like beer poured down the Rhine's asscrack and into my mouth. Rommel, where art thou?

I owe it all to Kay. She hipped me to it. I'm gonna go pawn a buncha shit so I can have at least a case in the crisper over the holidays.

Awesome! Glad to hear you dig it. Looks like the bottle could Poland in under 72 hours, no? The only bummer is I really hate the missing ounce in those undersized bottles.

Tonight I got buzzed on one bottle of DT and chased that with a Bushmill's. Now, I'm perfectly chilled.

Most IPAs (and to an extent Pale Ales) have a grapefruity taste. That's actually common.

I can't wait to go to Cigar City in Tampa in a few days.

Huh. Shows how long it's been since I've drank that style.

Got a bunch of stuff from Cigar City (most of their beers are only available in Florida):

Tocobaga Red Ale (6 pack)
Jose Marti India Porter (4 pack)
Expresso Maduro Brown Ale (4 pack)
Warmer Winter Winter Warmer (375 ml)

Also got a beer that's not distributed anywhere near me:

Ballast Point Sculpin (#1 IPA in the world according to beeradvocate...it was really good but not the best in the world IMO...not sure how fresh my bottle was though)

And got a 4 pack of Ten Fidy. It was $15 but I got a gift card....I tried one last night. Poured like motor oil. Insane. Tasted OK but I didn't like the overwhelming licorice taste and the booziness. Interesting to try though.

last week I went to the Sweetwater Brewery. I tried most of the ones they had. I already know I like Sweetwater 420. Out of the others, Sweetwater Blue was so tasty! I need to find some. (I'm back in Florida so it may be hard to find here)

Also, there's an Italian beer called La Rossa that's pretty damn tasty too. I've had it only twice (in Italian restaurants).

Keep an eye out for Old Engine Oil. Might be up you alley - and it packs a solid punch. Try a single before dropping cash on a multi pack, if possible. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/323/875

That's good stuff indeed. Haven't had it or Birds Moretti years. Need to remedy that.
