It's only a matter of time before everyone has cancer!

assuming its Non-hodgkins lymphoma he'll probably die of old age before the cancer. my dad just got diagnosed with this before the holidays and the doctors don't even want to do anything about it yet. its slow growing and easily treated for most people. survival time was like ten years and that's old statistics. it's much longer now apparently.

From Black Sabbath's I_LOVE_ZUCKERPENIS:

With the news that Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with the early stages of lymphoma, his bandmates would like everyone to send positive vibes to the guitarist at this time. Iommi is currently working with his doctors to establish the best treatment plan--the “IRON MANâ€Â￾ of Rock & Roll remains upbeat and determined to make a full and successful recovery.

This comes as Black Sabbath--Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums)--are writing and recording their first album in 33 years in Los Angeles (still set for release this fall) with producer Rick Rubin. They will now go to the UK to continue to work with Tony. Further information will be released as it becomes available.

Notice it says to "send positive vibes" and not to pray.

Pretty bad news for the early stage of lymphoma to get a severe case of Tony Iommi.

I have a friend who just got diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma. It was also caught in the early stages. Cancer sucks.
