I'm still on the KISS kick, too. Just wish that I hadn't made the unfortunate move of revisiting Music from the Elder...or Frehley's Comet. Ace's book made up for those missteps, but just barely.

Killing Joke - What's THIS for...!
Fucking phenomenal record. So under appreciated.

DRI - bunch of it. Can't wait for this show.

Kvelertak - S/T

Christian Mistress - Possession
Need to spend quality time with this vinyl and not just while I'm cleaning house or whatever. Doesn't hit me as immediately as the first album and seems a bit more metal. I assume it'll be a grower.

AOD - whatever greatest hits Spotify recommended. Great for a pissed off day at work.

Alcest - whatever the new one is called
I really dig this for chilling at night before sleep kicks in. Seems like it'll be a weird show with Speedwolf playing a couple hours later.

You got me onto the KISS. Although it doesn't take much.

Don't like Possession at all. Mediocre at best. Lots of go nowhere riffs and just totally fucking awkward transitions. Best song on here is the title-track, which is a cover. Maybe they'll rebound.

Yup, I love the album. I'm a sucker for the ambient atmospheric stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, it was you that mentioned Alrakis in this thread earlier. If so, thanks!

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it somewhere talking about how it's a black metal track for the universe haha

That about sums up my impression, too. I spun it a couple times last night as back ground music and I was waiting for the hook, but it never came. Sucks. The acoustic track or intro seemed way to close to "Dee" for comfort. Hate that sophomore jinx...Agony and Opium was such a badass record, start to finish.

I looked up that cover. Which Faith is it by? It's not the DC band, I don't think.

Voivod - Rrröööaaarrr
I don't know if this record makes me glad I don't do acid anymore or makes me miss doing acid...Whatever the case, I love this complete insanity.
