ProgPower USA ticket giveaway on WREKage, Sept. 9th

Post by WREKage-Paul » Tue August 30th, 2005, 3:18 am

Okay, as the longest-running noncorporate sponsor for ProgPower USA, I've been granted some ProgPower event tickets to use as giveaway prizes on WREKage. I'll give away a pair of tickets on the Sept. 9th show. That's about $210 worth, counting Ticketmaster's junk fees.

No, I have no idea when I'll do it. It's a worknight for me, though, so I can't get to WREKage before 1am.

BTW, these are probably not scalp-able. There are a good number of extra tickets floating around out there being sold at face-value or a little less....these, however, are free. :D

I think a lot of people are realizing that they can't make it due to high gas prices and in some cases, the situation along the Gulf Coast. :(

There are probably 20 tickets for sale on the ProgPower forum right now, so some people won't be able to unload theirs. Oh, well, the festival's paid for, and this way there'll be more room for the rest of us. (No smiley; it sucks whenever someone can't make an event like this.)
