Wrong. Michael Brown resigned earlier that day. That was the point.

no he turned in his resignation, much like a 2 week notice. hes still working, and may keep working after bush talks to him. but bush didnt want to comment on anything that he doesnt have the answers to. kinda smart the way i see it. rather than stickin his foot in his mouth like he has so many times before.
hope you all fucking rot

Who was the guy Brown turned his resignation into?
"The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of the blessings. The inherent blessing of socialism is the equal sharing of misery."

At a press conference on Monday?
He was removed from being in charge and a Coast Guard Vice Adm. was put in his place last Friday. So he was already out of a job then. He just had a title. This isn't like quitting McDonald's where you put in two weeks. The new guy was named today, two days after Michael Brown's official resignation.
My point is that someone should have been able to call, or have an aide tell Bush what was going on. But then again, that's probably expecting too much from the government, knowing how efficient they are at everything.
