Jeff Hanneman Died :(

"Slayer is devastated to inform that their bandmate and brother, Jeff Hanneman, passed away at about 11AM this morning near his Southern California home. He was 49. Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his sister Kathy and his brothers Michael and Larry, and will be sorely missed."

So, he was still recovering from complications from the spider bite, right? Was his death connected at all to those complications? I just know that everyone is just going to say that he was just partying too hard.

coulda gotten in his blood, but the dude was a drunk. imagine a break from the rd resulted in more boozin. liver was prob on the ropes as it was.

Got this terrible news yesterday and I'm still pretty shocked. Slayer was my first metal show ever; I still have the ticket stub. Hanneman was and always will be a legend.

Slayer just announced that Jeff died of alcohol-related cirrhosis.

He was not on a transplant list.
