All Cryptopsy rules, I would love to have all the albums redone with Lord Worm on vocals, that would make all the albums that much better. None so Vile is the essential death metal cd, If you dont like NSV, you dont like Death Metal. The New CD is sweet I like it alot.

I agree. The Worm is the best. By far. No challenge.

I disagree, he's got way more range (!) on display on the new album.
I'll be writing a review of it soon as it's seriously the best album I've heard in years.

Lord Worm is the only person that should front Cryptopsy.
Whisper Supremacy to me was similar to the Gorguts
album Obscurer, not many people were ready for that kinda
change. I believe WS is one of the most technical albums
ever and it just caught people off guard.
NONE SO VILE - There will never be another album, EVER, that
will replace or stand toe to toe with this one.

I think by the first three cd's matt is referring to Ungentle Exhumation, BMF , and NSV.

Here is where I am with the new Cryptopsy.. to me it falls into some other undefinable category that I would not say is death metal. Not sure if I'm saying this the right way, but to me it's almost as if the prior albums are these great & amazing death metal works, and Once Was Not stands on it's own as a singular work of musical madness/brilliance. Hopefully, I just made some sort of sense.

thats how i see whisper supremecy....... a stand alone album that has no equal. i think that disalvo's vocals on WS are superb and he captured all the emotion that it needed to push it over the edge. that being said, none so vile is also a shining moment not only for cryptopsy but for all of death metal.

i was referring to ungentle exhumations (demo), blasphemy made flesh, and none so vile. but i honestly do not enjoy lord worms vocals as much on the new one. i easier would take whisper supremecy or and then you'll beg over it. i honestly never minded disalvos vocals, and when i saw cryptopsy with disalvo he had a very brutal stage presence.

Personally i perfer the new NEURAXIS - Trillateral Progression over the new cryptopsy. i guess i am just comparing because they are both canada bands, but the new neuraxis is damn good. probably my favorite album of 2005 so far......
