Spewtilator/Coffin Dust - Ancient Rites of Getting Conjured

I finally managed to track down and knock the dust out of my old giant cassette player, so I've been going through the large hoard of tapes I've been buying and not listening to for the past few months.

The BFF gave me "A Very Brady Christmas" on cassette. I know it's going to be horrible, so I'm gonna have to get Very Brady Drunk before I put it on.RAM wrote:I finally managed to track down and knock the dust out of my old giant cassette player, so I've been going through the large hoard of tapes I've been buying and not listening to for the past few months.
Is WolfCop as awesome as I'm really hoping it is? Please say yes.

Sarcofago - INRI
Darkthrone - Goatlord
Gorguts - Colored Sands
Immortal - Battles in the North
Tiamat - The Astral Sleep
To boot, after stumbling upon some crap quality live footage of a disappeared band I used to love, Epoch of Unlight, performing songs I'd never heard before, I politely nudged the guitarist/vocalist through FB into making the shit available in at least digital format. So here we are:
http://epochofunlight.bandcamp.com/releases
Kind of "melodic" blackened death in the mid to late 90s sense, somewhere in the God Dethroned/Dissection/The Crown area, which isn't really an official area but EoU have a paradoxically familiar but unique sound. Their other 3 albums are great.

(They're from Memphis so I'm sure many here are already familiar with them.)

I still haven't seen it in full myself; I've just been supporting the film since I first saw it on Cinecoup. However, I have enough friends in Canada with the same tastes as me to believe that it's gonna be the best cheesy werewolf flick since the 80s.Diana wrote:Is WolfCop as awesome as I'm really hoping it is? In more on-topic news, I just got my order in from Ritual Ugliness for EVEN MORE cassettes, so:
Vimur - Southern Aurora
Mangled - Tales From Beneath The Street Vol. II: Live Sewage

My brother has been giving very generously to the Samurai Cop 2 kickstarter, so I think it's safe to say this shit runs in my family. We're very excited about WolfCop.RAM wrote:I still haven't seen it in full myself; I've just been supporting the film since I first saw it on Cinecoup.Diana wrote:Is WolfCop as awesome as I'm really hoping it is?
