the combination of a christmas bonus and a need for slight aural adventure led me to buy a bit o'vinyl. for whatever reason, i seemed to have concentrated on stuff i've never heard of before.

wolvserpent- bloodseed
sigh- a tribute to venom
(familiar with both of those)
goatlord corporation- horns of the resurrection
dead in the water- less days left
heatdeath- un
sisters of the wyrd- grey

Ordered one of the last copies of that Nightbitch demo from Cyclopean the other day. Can't wait for it to come in, looks gorgeous. 180g black vinyl.

100%. Pure occult 80's style heavy metal. Some dudes from Hour of 13 are in the band so if you're familiar with them, you should know what to expect. So good.

couldn't find a good rip of it at all, nearly everything was a myspace rip or 128. I'm pretty sure that it comes with a digital download so when it comes in, I'll put the files up somewhere.

Just thought I would let people know that there is a 20% off sale for albums that made Decibel's 2010 top 40 at Relapse. There are a handful of albums that are actually good.

Nightbitch didn't come with a download code...sorry Ryan.

Gotta say though, Cyclopean kicks ass. I ordered a Mammoth Grinder record from them maybe a year ago and didn't really have any problems. Just average mailorder service. This time, the record showed up at my door within 4 days AND apparently February is Buy 1 Get 1 Free month, so he threw in an extra LP from some band called Green & Wood. Definitely want to buy from them again.
