Buried Alive was SICK. Way better than Terror.kamal wrote:I can't give a definitive top five but 5 bands I really, really like are:
Slayer
Suffocation
Blind Guardian
Demiricous
Buried Alive
and my faves of ALL time today are:
Metallica
Cave In
Nine Inch Nails
Sepultura
Nirvana
I love metal and hardcore, but most of those bands aren't on par with other bands I like.

Immortal
Emperor
... Hm, perhaps I should think of something less ... Norwegian.
Current 93
And any one of Morbid Angel, Nile, or Behemoth, since they all sort of work on the same level.
Opeth is usually my #1, but I think I've listened to them way, way too much.
And I used to love 311 to an unhealthy degree, probably saw them live more than any other band, and memorized every note and syllable from their first three albums. But from Transistor onward, they suuuucked.

Transistor is their best album! I'd say that Soundsystem was their last really good album.
Not for me. Grassroots is an awesome album, and my favorite by them. They had so much energy back then.Brian wrote:watDeathfareDevil wrote: And I used to love 311 to an unhealthy degree, probably saw them live more than any other band, and memorized every note and syllable from their first three albums. I'd say Grassroots first, and then Music, then Blue Album, and then Transistor. Everything else is crap, except for the live album.
