Im blown away by the fact that you would post a novel about your bad music store experience. Only a few people from Cumming post on here in the first place, and your crying about your guitar isnt going to stop people in the area from buying their strings, drum sticks, cables etc.. from Ponce.

I did however get a good laugh over how you made yourself seem like such a bad ass in what you claim to be the conversation between you and the employees. I bet you sat there and took it, like a bitch.

They probably would have done you a favor by burning your guitar, seeing as how your music is terrible and your ego is obviously huge.

Hey dude, if I were nearby I'd do it for you. You might want to entirely replace the Floyd Rose... or just get a new guitar altogether. BC Rich guitars aren't very good, with the exception of USA Custom and the new NJ Deluxe/Pro line.

I have a BC Rich Platinum Series Beast, and I LOVE that thing. It plays very well, and sounds great. It's very bright and works great for pretty much any metal playing. The intonation is perfect, as well.

I also have an older BC Rich NJ Series ASM and it also is a great playing guitar, even though the intonation is a hair off, which I can probably fix if I spent the time to mess with it. It's got an old Kahler Flyer trem. I can't complain for what I paid for it, though. It's got a really warm sound.

I've just had nothing but good luck with BC Rich guitars, so I've stuck with them. They've become my favorite brand over the years.

Howie Bently of Cauldron Born, teaches lessons up there or did, by I had a similar repair issues up there with my Kramer 300ST, it's never been right since. Dude acted like some sortof jerkoff about it, I think most of them are christians.

For someone who doesn't care, you sure invest a lot of time in this topic. I don't care about the incident anymore, however, in the interest of the community, I've posted this experience so that other people don't go to the store and have to deal with them.

in my experience BC Rich and Floyd Rose are nothing but trouble!

i've had three BC Rich guitars in my day and the only one worth a damn was an 80's model NJ series Warlock(from when they actually made them in america). That guitar was great and whats even better is i got it for $20 at a pawn shop......and it had a Kahler on it!

Other than that i had a BC Rich Virgin and a platinum Warlock. Both of those guitars were great for about two to three months. Then they both fell apart on me piece by piece. The Virgin actually fell apart while i was onstage in the middle of an Orcrist show. Both of the shit guitars had floyd rose locking tremelo systems on them and they were nothing short of a nightmare.

i've only heard horror stories about BC Rich for the last 12 years. the only models i've heard anything good about are the american made customs. i've actually only heard great things about those but if you want one of'em you better have some jack saved up.


maybe you've got one of those "one in a million" that came out wonderful....if so, then hell yeah.....but i wouldn't buy another one. lightning won't strike twice.

Haha, my NJ Series ASM is an American-made guitar, and it also has a Kahler Flyer trem.

My Beast, however, has a fixed bridge. It's a Platinum series so it's one of the nicer models, but it was made in Korea. What can I say, though - I love that guitar, and it plays like a dream. It sounds really good.

I refuse to get anything with a Floyd Rose... I fucking hate those things.

I totally agree with you. But you NEED to check out the new NJ Deluxe line. BC Rich has started to really up their game. BC Rich has really improved their upper mid level guitars. If you can stand a Warlock or a Jr V, you simply can't spend $700 better.

Well, I for one will never set foot in the place. If I'm close to Cumming, I just think about baseball. (sorry...couldn't help it)

BC Rich NJ series guitars were never made in the US. Though for a while, the ones on the US market were assembled here after the pieces were manufactured in Nagoya, Japan.

Granted, now they manufacture them in Korea...but I digress. And like Matt said, the upper mid level ones they make now are pretty damn sweet. Best they've done since the 80's.

Those older ones with the Kahlers are work-horses though. I've got a couple of those myself. But not the ones with Floyds. (Had one...sold it) I hate floyds in general, but like Blaze was saying, the floyds on BC Riches suck ass!

And hey, Slutrag, there's probably nothing wrong with yours that a little WD40 can't fix.
