I've done a lot of haunting work as well. That shit is fun.

I set one up for an elementary school fall festival once. I...think I might have gone a bit too far with that one. Half the kids ran back out the entrance by the time they got to the 2nd scene.

I've also heard that Netherworld is doing a lot of cool new shit this year.
LOL those poor kids! hahaha

yeah, Netherworld added more stunt rigs this year. That's all I'm saying though cause I don't want to give it away!

about Chambers of Horrors...I saw it's in the music park. Is it covered? I don't want all the cool stuff getting rained on! That would suck balls cause I know it takes hard work to put all that shit together.
Yeah, I talked to one of the stunt guys. It sounds very cool.

The Chambers of Horror is indoors. It's right next to that rear loading dock off of the side street. (How many years have I parked on that street and I don't even know the name of it. haha)
Let the joyous celebrations of Hell begin!

They are about done, but I have decided not to go help out anymore, because I just don't have the time like I thought I did. I have shit to save up for, things to work on, and things to replace (oops)

It's in the building immediately behind the Masquerade that until recently, belonged to Mellow Mushroom. Apparently, the Masquerade finally bought it. It already has freezers and stuff inside.

My friend Ripper is working at this "fright attraction" (can't really call it a haunted house) and helped build some of the displays.
I got a sneak-peak walk-through on Sat. night before all of it was complete, but I'd say it'll be worth the $15 admission price.

I'm proud to say that our Starfire Viking throwing axe appears in the promo vid.

I was told that Dave Brockie checked it out during the day and then was planning on returning in full GWAR regalia....so maybe they did.

I have managed to scare up a posse of hot ladies for next Thursday night! Who's gonna be there?

And also, if anyone knows the answer to slut rag's question about the 18+ please tell us, because if this is g-rated I will be sad. Thx.

10pm is when the 'adult' portion begins.

My friend Ripper is no longer working there because they are apparently not paying their staff, or slow-paying, or making excuses, etc.

So really, it's debatable as to whether he was ever 'working' there at all. A shame, since he put a lot into it.

sucks about the paying part. We just got our first check last night for Netherworld...we usually get it split into 2 paychecks per haunt season. I thought Chambers of horror was volunteer though... :?:

I still haven't checked it out...mostly cause working 2 jobs is keeping me real busy. I don't know if I will get to see it at all actually. I could go on Wednesday...we'll see

about Netherworld: we didn't get out until almost 3am last night (the box office closes at midnight on Saturdays!)...I wouldn't be surprised if several thousand people came through last night...those lines were fucking ridiculous. I made 2 people piss themselves though 2 nights in a row and I sent someone off in an ambulance. :? Yeah, I'm not joking. It's funny about them peeing but I don't really find it funny about the woman who got hurt cause of me...I was gunning the chainsaw, someone slipped and caused 5 or so people to fall and one woman hit her head really hard on a metal railing. Other than that incident, I've been having a great time with it. I love scaring the shit out of people!

We're going at 8. Sigh. At least now I know it will be even less scary than I thought, which wasn't very scary.

Metalfreak, we're going to Netherworld tomorrow night. You gonna be there? Feel free to toss me on the ground and chainsaw my ass in front of my friends. In fact, I could fill my pockets with fake blood before I leave. I have two bottles of it. Holla.

didn't see this till now but I won't be there anyways...I hope you have fun! If i was working tonight, you bet I would chainsaw you hahaha that would scare the shit out of the other customers cause we're not supposed to touch the patrons (friends don't count...we use them to scare the others whether they know it or not hahaha!)

I don't think you'll be dissappointed with Netherworld either :D
