Saw them once when they came through with Ozzy and Sepultura. That was forever and a day ago.

was more in Carnivore and the first Type O album myself. Saw them at the wrekage benefit back in the day and they tore it up. He did alot for metal. RIP Peter

I had Carnivore's Retalliation. I will never forget Jack Daniels and Pizza. haha.

i have that double cd of the first album and Retalliation together. That whole album rules man. I remember hearing Jack Daniels and Pizza for the first time on the radio back when Southern Tech had the radio station WGHR when i first moved to GA back in '86 and Kevin Sharp was one of the DJ's- Kevin the Maddog. Gotta love the ole "80's" thrash days.

It's like Elvis died for me. Non-metal fans don't understand his loss to me, but it's also like I have lost a part of my childhood. Peter Steele was the greatest and now we are all just living in a post-Peter Steele world.

Although I did see some irony, he was part Icelandic no? Well his fury is still being felt in Europe today in the form of a huge volcano.

Moreover I saw on the news that there was a meteor shower and people saw orange, black and green balls lighting up the sky...three major colors of every Type O Negative cover. Stupid I know...but I still can't believe he's gone.
